I purchased a ticket on Feb 26th with FareBuzz, just to check them out. I confirmed my departure on March 7th with a return on March 8th before completing the transaction.
When the e-mail itinerary arrived it showed my outbound on March 7th but my return for March 19th. I immediately started calling FareBuzz, but the customer service rep and their supervisor both clearly stated their well rehersed company line "You will need to contact the airline directly. You should have contacted up before completing the transaction." I heard these exact words, said nearly the same way during every call to FareBuzz.
When I booked the ticket, and when I confirmed the flights before completing the transaction everything was fine. The error became apparent when I received the confirmation e-mail, so I could not have contacted them prior to the error being noted.
Their customer service is horrible and I hated to do it, but today I ended up filing a charge-back against FareBuzz. US Airways obviously would not make a change in the reservation, without charging me a fee, as they didn't make the mistake, FareBuzz did.
Anyone else encounter problems with them?
