MilesBuzz! - T3 at London Heathrow - Immigration time??

I am landing at LHR T3 on AA from ORD at 6:50am with my infan son and have another flight to catch at T4 at 10:20. I am planning on meeting my buddy outside T3, spending about an hour with him and then going on to T4.
Is this advisable? How long are the immigration lines early morning at LHR?

Been on that flight - although from UK so go straight thru, but do glance at the lines.
They do vary depending on arrival time - can be 30 mins earlier and no problem, but several flights land about 7 am so can be a bit of a wait - time between flights is fine - you should be able to meet up with your friend easily enough.
