Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has travelled to Charleroi Airport and then transferred into Brussels City Centre.
Looking for an inexpensive means of travel.
The bigger problem is our flight back time:
COMING BACK
From Brussels (Charleroi) (CRL) to Manchester (MAN)
Depart CRL at 07:15 and arrive MAN at 07:40
Can anyone with experience of this airport give me an insight please.
Thanks
Take the first shuttle bus from Brussels, it departs at 4.30 and takes a little bit over an hour.

Or stay in Charleroi for the last night. You could even sleep in the airport if the budget is extremely limited, they recently opened a new terminal which should be nicer that the old one.

you can also catch a local bus and then the train into Brussels, from memory, it wasnt as expensive as the coach

it is 2,5 euro's for the bus; and the cost of the train will depend on the actual destination..

Thanks for the info so far.
We are going to be staying at the Hotel Royotel. Am I right in thinking that the Coach takes you to the South station?
Hotel: http://www.hotels-belgium.com/brussel-bac/royotel.htm
How long would it take to walk this distance and is it easy to navigate the streets of Brussels for the first time?
How much would a taxi roughly cost from the station to the hotel?
Sorry to be a nuisance :D
