Budget Travel - Help a Noob make it to the Freddies!

Hello all,

It's that time of year again: Annual Help a Noob Day!:) This is the first thread I've ever started on FT and I think it's only my third or forth post, but here goes....

Although I'm a novice, I've gone to a few Dos in New York and had a blast. At one of these Dos, I learned about the Freddies (sp?) and immediately got excited. I'd really like to go, but given my inexperience, I was hoping that some pros might give me some tips on how to get there on the cheap from NYC!

Well.... you may not make it to the Freddies... but you should wish your threads would get frequent freddie miles.... it is certainly making the rounds of FT.... :D

Well, the Freddies are on April 23 at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport hotel. So your real question should be what are cheap options to get from NYC to FLL.

To answer that question you should shop around for air fare, would you be willing to go out of ISP to take WN? Maybe you can find a $9 fair on NK.
