How do old delta FF miles differ from Skymiles other than by never expiring?

Efrem Jan 22, 04, 11:11 pm Welcome to FT! If you have been some level of Medallion since the old program (1995) with no breaks (years without elite status), you can use old miles for awards from the old Medallion award chart. Since under its old program Delta gave elites awards for fewer miles instead of giving them bonus miles but using a single award chart, the old chart is more generous. (My favorite was the 2500-mile round trip upgrade from any fare.) Other than that, and not expiring as you mentioned, there's no difference. In the future, you'll probably do better on airline-specific questions such as this in the airline's own forum. mshaikun Jan 23, 04, 6:46 am Thanks. I'm new here and discovered the Delta forum only after making this post. With apologies for multiple posting, I posted it there as well. gleff Jan 23, 04, 7:01 am <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Originally posted by mshaikun: I posted it there as well.</font> Please continue the discussion in the other posted thread in the DL forum: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum21/HTML/013058.html Regards, Gary aka gleff MilesBuzz and Delta moderator |
