Korean Air Skypass - Korean seat maps

I notice you can see the seat maps for Korean flights on expedia.com... however, on every flight the first dozen or more rows are completely full in coach... is this seating that Korean holds for their elite members to select or are they actually full?

When I called to get seat assignments for my flights, the phone agent was incredibly inflexible in regards to my seat requests, saying "that's all we have" when I can clearly see there were other, better options, on the seat map on expedia.

But maybe expedia isn't the best place to look?

Korean Air does not release forward seats until departure window time. If you want to reserve your seat you have to go to the back of the plane.
