Travel Technology - Annoying pop-up message w/Verizon Aircard

This message brought to you courtesy of my spiffy new Verizon USB727 Modem Aircard. Got it installed, on 2 laptops & on-line w/o any problem.

However, there message popping up, nearly constantly, from the bottom right corner of the tool bar saying 'New Wi-Fi Network is Available'.

HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP????????? :mad:

I don't have a Verizon air card anymore, but I seem to recall that there is a way to tell the air card manager software NOT to try to connect to any wifi networks. I think that's what fixes the annoying notification problem.

Finally figured it out-the manual it came w/said to check 'detect both wi-fi & WWAN' during the install process & that's what was causing the pop-up. I had to go back & re-do the install & tell it to just detect WWAN & pop-up is gone!

Sheesh!
