Choice Privileges - Buyin Choice points: Do they post immediately?

To get the last few Choice points I need to convert to WN RR credits for a Companion Pass, I may need to buy some.

Buy Points is processed by points.com. It isn't instant, but the terms say to "allow 24 hours for the points to post to the account."http://www.choicehotels.com/ires/en-US/html/GPBuyPoints

I have bought points twice, the first time took a couple of hours the second was within an hour.
