Just completed a quick one night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Naperville/Warrenville (http://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=XAA5GZR5ZZZ40CSGBJN2VCQ?cty hocn=ORDNWGI) and didn't see a review of the hotel in the Hilton Reviews master thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hilton-hhonors/462405-hilton-family-hotel-master-thread.html) so I figured I would add a quick review.
Hotel is located approx. 0.5 mile off I-88 in the Warrenville/Naperville area. The entire area around the hotel looks to be pretty new and according to the hotel staff the hotel has only been open for approx. 6 months. The common areas of the hotel and the general appearance of the hotel is like most new built HGI I have stayed in. Staff is very friendly and really went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Since the hotel is new the rooms are in perfect condition. I was given the option of a suite when I checked in online the night before as a HH Gold member. The room was very nice and huge with 1.5 baths and a very large living room. The bath contained a jetted tub and a handicap shower (not optimal but hey you can't have everything!) Evidently the suites are all handicap accessible. Breakfast was nicely presented and overall I really cannot find anything to complain about. I was suprised that there was no coffee out in the evening but once I asked I was given a nice little pot full by the attendant.
There are several restaurants in a small strip mall right across the parking lot from the hotel. I think there was a Starbucks, Subway and an Italian place. In the next parking lot there was a McD's, Atlanta Bread Co. and a Chicken Wing place. Across the main road (Diehl Rd.) there were several other alternatives like CPK, Corner Bakery and a couple of other food places and a movie theater.
Overall great place I would recommend to anyone. I chose it because the reviews of the Hilton Lisle/Naperville weren't that great.
