I am ready to make some miles with Long distance. I am requesting your help in the gathering of info stage.

From what I have seen while looking is 5k miles for Sprint and AT&T and a 1k bonus for setting up online. This is a total of 6k for the change and 5 miles per $1 spent.

I have 2 lines in the home. I have MCI on one of the lines and I just set this one up for 10k miles in Northwest. I want the second line to be something other than MCI.

Thanks, sbc94523. I have read pgary's site and he does a wonderful job with his site. Not just the telephone folder. What I am looking for is the best deal that is out there now. I was wondering if there was one better than the 6k that I have found searching Frequent Flyer site such as Continental, America West, Delta, American, United and others.

It appears that with the advent of the cell phone, there are less miles being offered for a land line. There are lots of combo deals but I already have Nextel. So, it is taking some good ole fashion elbow grease to find the best deal. I have already done the groundwork. I know what I will do unless I find something better and that is why I am here.

Ok...the deal was done for 10k in United with Sprint. Thanks for the help.

Now, I saw the deal for 2.5 cents a minute. How does that work?

You "dial around" your LD service by using an access # provided by www.onesuite.com (http://www.onesuite.com) . You can try their service for as little as $10 which can buy you up to 400 LD minutes. Study the ZipDial function which allows you to register several phone #'s so you don't need to provide a PIN when calling from those #'s. All you calls are logged, which is another feature that makes this different than a standard calling card.
