Does any body know anything about this property? I think it's brand new; my college age son and 3 buddies wants to see a NBA game and play golf in Oklahoma City so I used some points to book them here, is this in the "night life" area (if there is such a thing in OK City)? Thanks

You're within a five minute walk of everything in Bricktown--great location! Lots of good restaurants and bars, and a couple of decent clubs (Rok Bar, Skky Bar, and CityWalk).

The location is great for Oklahoma City. The only downside is that you have to pay for parking.

Funny and semi-related story. I was in OKC at the beginning of the month for a convention, staying at the Residence Inn Bricktown a few blocks from the Hampton Inn. I had told some of the other people travelling with me to book their reservations at the same property. One of them found out when she tried to check in that her reservation was at the Bricktown Hotel and Convention Center (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g51560-d248027-Reviews-Bricktown_Hotel_Convention_Center-Oklahoma_City_Oklahoma.html), which turned out to be three lies for the price of one (it's neither in Bricktown, can be called a 'hotel', and the only folks who would convene there would be truckers gassing up across the street while dining at the Waffle House). The panicked call I received from her was "I am pretty sure porn and/or COPS have been filmed in my room." Remembering this new property, I called the Hampton Inn and was able to find they still had a few rooms available; the walk-up weekend rate was only $119, which I thought was a very good deal. To echo others, it's in a really good spot in the middle of the Bricktown District and within walking distance to lots of places for entertainment. I think the Ford Center would only be about a 10 minute walk. The rooms were very nice and new and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. There's a nice indoor poor as well.

The Bricktown places we enjoyed visiting included the Tapwerks, Sonic Burger, Bass Pro Shop, and Earl's Ribs Palace.

My company that I work for actually opened this property recently. It's gotten great reviews...and my company builds some great HI&S. Lots of practice. I've heard great things about the team down there, but haven't had a chance to meet anyone.

I highly recommend checking it out! Let me know what you think!

You should really try the Skirvin Hilton which is only 3 blocks or so from Bricktown. Very cool hotel.
