I am elite on United, Continental and American. I have an upcoming flight on HA, and as I will rarely ever fly HA I am looking for options to assign any miles I earn on this flight to another carrier. Much in the same way that when I fly on Delta or Northwest I assign the miles to Onepass and when I fly US Airways I assign the miles to UAL

Suggestions ?

Look at the HA website. Miles can be earned on a limited number of other carriers. However, the fare has to be in certain fare classes (associated with higher fares). One option is to accrue miles in the HA program and transfer them to Hilton Honors in increments of 5,000 miles.

That's true for interisland flights, but for Hawaii-Mainland flights, miles cannot be earned on any of HA's US partners (UA, NW, CO, DL, AA). You can earn HA miles for all HA travel on Virgin.

The reason behind this rule for Mainland carriers is that these carriers are competing for business with HA for Hawaii-Mainland pax.
