Air New Zealand Air Points - Earning points on star alliance partners

Hi there,

I'm looking at booking a cheap (relatively) flight from chc to pvg in global saver. What I'm wondering though is whether I will be able to earn AC aeroplan points on it. From what I can see NZ airpoints can be earned, but I don't know if that applies to their star alliance partners.

I'm not 100% of the booking class but after finding a fare match on ITA I think it's S ...

anybody know whether I can earn some aeroplan points?

If it's 'S', then very unlikely. LGSK are only AirPoints earning, not partner earning.

The cheaper NZ fares invariably credit ONLY to Airpoints.....IME.

Right, LGSKP only credit to NZ Airpoints, and these are the cheapest fare categories.

Are Tasman Flexi Saver fares partner earning? Only managed to load the Smart Saver fares in ITA.
