I will have a flight (LHR-MAD) with Iberia's flight number but operated by BA. The IB's booking class is Q which should earn 50% CX miles (but BA's Q class is 0 CX mile).

Could any CX expert inform if this flight will earn CX miles or not?

Many thanks.

if your booking class is Q and tickets issued by IB (your e-tickets number starting with 075), codeshard flight number IB7445 or IB7449 was printed in your boarding pass, yes, you should earn both of Asia Miles and quilfy for earn Marco Polo Club's club miles/sectors.

Eligible economy fare classes for Club miles and Club sectors with oneworld alliance airlines (effective as of May 2008):

Iberia
100% Club miles and Club sectors accrual: Y
50% Club miles and Club sectors accrual: B/G/H/K/L/M/N/O/Q/V/S/P

Whether or not the ticket is issued by Iberia is irrelevent in this case. As long as the marketing carrier is IB, i. e., IBXXXX shown on your ticket, and the operating carrier is BA, you should be able to accure the miles. Please do note though that in no place does CX or CPLP explicitly say that code-share flights both marketed and operated by oneworld members are eligilble, but the de facto practice is that you will earn it.

If the flight is operated by BA, then whatever the final booking class is on BA will be the one that determines if you get the credit on Asiamiles. Calling BA now would not help until the day of departure.

But as usual, if it does not credit, send in your BP and copy of ticket to asiamiles for manual handling.

So there you have it - 3 different and partly conflicting answers.

For what it's worth, is that ernestnywang's interpretation is what I would expect to be the case.
