InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - HI - Ithaca , NY - any comments ?

Anyone stayed at the HI in Ithaca ? Any comments on the facility or upgrade potential ?

thought I did a post on this last fall when I stayed there. Run of the mill HI. Gift bag for elites. Upgrade depends upon how full the property is. Combination of motel and hotel.

I've stayed at the property a handful of times over the past 30 years (including when it was the Ramada, and the current Ramada up at Triphammer was the Holiday Inn). I concur with Shareholder's assessment. The HI is neither the best nor the worst place to stay in Ithaca, but I have found the staff generally friendly and helpful.

FWIW, I think that the HI Ithaca can be won with a Priceline bid these days.

If you have any spare time, it is right next to the Ithaca Commons, which is the big pedestrian mall/downtown area of Ithaca. We just had the Chili Festival there last weekend...

Lost of bars and places to eat and can do some shopping..quite a range of things there...

Sorry, don't know... Since I live in the area I've never actually stayed at the hotel...

Not per se. They have Exec rooms, but no lounge or dedicated floor.
