I have 49,617 Asia Miles(transferred 3+ years ago as a priceline\points.com promo)
Wondered if I'd ever have a chance to use them, now it looks like I just might.
I'll be over in NRT 12/22-12/29 as part of the CO, SEA-NRT cheap fare.
Never been to that side of the globe before, so am open to burning those miles to most anywhere
Miles expire 8/31/09, either need to use em or figure how to add to them(for longer expire)
Thoughts, input...
Thanks

You can top it up to 50K with cash, then get a Biz award ticket from NRT to HKG on CX/JL.

Although i just recommend you to redeem your miles, you can extend your miles' expiration dates using the asiamiles website. it costs 12 US dollars to extend 2000 miles by 3 years. If you do the math, it's totally not worth it.

The only way to extend their life is to pay, and, as a previous poster said, that really isn't worth it.
You can use them to redeem flights in many parts of the world (BA, AA, etc) but the ticket needs to be issued before the miles' expiry date. Once issued the ticket is flexible on dates, and to some extent on reroutes (for a fee), but you cannot change the airline.
