I don't use hotels that are part of the Wyndham Rewards program very often but I would like to get SkyMiles when I do stay there.
Hence, I tried today to sign up for it. Although it allows Israeli addresses it does not accept telephone numbers which don't have 10 digits. If I use the Israeli country code I have 11 digits. If I don't use the code, I have 9 digits.
The software accepts neither but will not allow me to sign up without a phone number.
I imagine that I could get it straightened out by making a long distance call to the States and speaking with a CSR, but it really isn't worth the effort and cost. Instead, I will just not stay at any of their hotels.
I can't be the only one who has run into this problem -- almost everyone who lives outside of the US will face it. It seems that Wyndham is losing a lot of guests because of this software glitch.
