Asiana Club - Unimpressed by customer relations -missing miles

To continue the trend of ”unimpressed by” I would like to start the unimpressed by customer relations…

It seems virtually impossible to communicate with Asiana Diamond Club. And even more impossible to get missing miles credited. My wife collects miles in OZ (she does not travel enough for *G in any other *A airline) and after a flight with Swiss to JFK last April miles did not credit automatically. After a few weeks she decided to send the original BPs in a registered mail to the Asiana London office. They have signed for the delivery of this letter but still no miles credited to her account.
She has sent several e-mails both to the London office and the Korean Diamond Club office but NO answers… so no answer to why the miles didn’t post or where those BPs are today.
Now she’s in the same position again, miles missing after a flight with LH 5 weeks ago. She does not want to lose those boarding passes again by sending them to the wrong location…

How should one proceed now? Exactly where should those boarding passes be sent to to be sure that someone actually opens the letter and credits those miles?

sorry to hear your miserable experiences... the easiest way is to go to ICN Asiana club desk... upon showing the BP and your original ticket, you will get the miles credited immediately. I think you have six month or so to do this.

Otherwise, I think you should consider a mileage program what is within the local area... since you live in Sweden SK might be a good choice...or LH. Having a FF program where they do not have an office nor fly, it's difficult to get a good customer service experience.

That’s a good point and that is why I personally will stick to LH (holding Senator *G)! However, my wife will never travel enough to get *G in SK/LH with her current job, that’s why she enrolled in Asiana Diamond Club. I still think there should be a decent and working way of getting missing miles credited, without visiting the club desk at ICN. We have tried the London address but that didn’t work, any of the other offices that actually work?

Try OZ office in Korea.

I had similar situations in the past. First, I would make copies of the boarding passes before you send them.
I personally got my miles credited by sending scans of the evidence via E-Mail to the Sydney office. Usually it is also better to send it to a person, rather than the office E-Mail.
All my missing miles credited within a few weeks. Not very fast but they did credit.

Call OZ city ticket office in FRA, and tell them you want to talk to an Asiana Club agent. I collect most of my miles on M&M, but last year I put some missing miles from OZ flights on Asiana Club. It worked well after a phone call. You will be asked to send original boarding passes and ticket numbers.

This is a trouble spot with Asiana. I also emailed OZ twice to inquire of SK mileage earning rates. I have been waiting for a reply for the last three years.
It seems like OZ does not communicate with emails.
