Hi john2003,
According to the BA forum here on FT, there will be a Club world ( business) sale being announced on Thursday 26th february ( if like last time NYC will be c £1100 rtn including taxes)
These will be bookable via BA.com and expedia.co.uk. I would expect Virgin to closely follow this.
I think AA currently has a sale on.

It totally depends on your travel dates.. There are lots of providers providing business class service to JFK from LHR. As per me the cheapest would business class would be in SWISS Airlines via Zurich
