Anyone else get this email? Interesting title. Ever see it before?

Promo is 10% off for a mid-size, premium or luxury for > 5 days through 3/11/09. About the only limit is "24-hour" advance. PC is EMILP.

Not my cuppa. I prefer the consistent (double) "op-ups" from economy or compact, but hopefully it works, so it sticks.

I did get it. I wasn't sure if it was really something that wasn't supposed to be posted (though it's not that great of a deal) or if they just forgot to change the subject.

Now, hoo boy for another reason...

While I was there, I tried this. It brings a mid-size from a weekly base rate of $432.78 to $389.50 at LAX, 2/27 - 3/6/2009. All-in, that's $489.29.* :eek:

By the way, it shows, in addition to the Promo Code, the Rate Code RCUW5 , if it's still worthwhile to anyone. (Honestly, I brought it up because of the "Test Launch:" email.)


* Remember that 10% off the base rate isn't 10% off the total price. Which seems such a trivial point now.
