Arriving HAN at about 10:30 PM on an OZ flight from ICN and would like to pick up a bottle or two at the duty-free. (1) Where is it located? (2) Will it be open? and (3) As an alternative can I shop at the duty free in ICN and carry my purchases with me on the ICN-HAN flight?

Is there arriving tax-free shop in HAN? I didn't know that, but if your final destination is HAN, you can purchase at ICN airport tax-free shops. There are many many choices available in ICN, and I believe they are at sale for like 15% if you look around (not sure). Since Korean currency dropped severely, tax-free shops -which sell on USD price- are on huge sale. You can carry on with you. If there's any regulation about liquid on ICN-HAN flight as many others do, you have to purchase 45 mins (or so) prior to your schedule, and you'll pick it up at the gate.

There IS duty-free on arrival next to the baggage carousels at Nobai. We purchased at ICN where there was a much better selection however, and carried on with no problems.
