Hello All,
I couldn't find a recent thread via search, so I was wondering if anyone can help me find the perfect luxy/semi-luxury (4 - 5 star) hotel in Cuzco, PE?
Trip is for late March.
Thanks!
It's been about three years since I stayed there, but the Hotel Monasterio is wonderful. Among other amenities: extra oxygen pumped into the room (for $25 per night, I think); a very good restaurant; great concierge. It is, however, pricey AND some of the rooms are much nicer than others.

Hi there
I went to Cuzco a month ago. Definetely El Monasterio is considered the best hotel in there. I went there to have dinner one night. The place is really nice. They have this 300+ year old tree in the middle of the courtyard, really beautiful. The food was ok, not superb though.
I stayed in the Casa Andina Private Collection, 4 stars. I wouldnŽt say it is luxury, but it had good service, nice rooms, very clean. Really good breakfast, but other than that the food was plain. They have this fireplace where people coming back from tours stop by and have some mate de coca (good for the altitude). I would stay there again.
Hope this helps, if you need any restaurants recommendations IŽd be happy to help you. Just let me know.

Novotel - nice hotel with friendly, efficient staff very close to main square.
Half the price of El Monasterio... and has oxygen too:)

I will also be staying in cusco, late March. I understand the Inkaterra La Casona is very nice. Has anyone stayed there? Thoughts?
