Radisson goldpoints plus - Park Inn Düsseldorf/Kaarst

I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel. I have a reservation for this coming Friday as I have a flight out of DUS. How si the connection to the airport? I am a Silver elite member, and scored a rate for only 62 euros

Well I'm at the hotel right now. The room is huge and nice. The bathroom is in need of some refurbishment. It's quite a big hotel with zero atmosphere and a bit old. The shuttle to the airport leaves only every hour, so 7.00 am/pm, 8.00 am/pm so that's not very convenient, but hey parking is for free.

I reserved a room with a king sized bed, but its more like a queen, and it has 2 sets of sheets. but I don't want to switch rooms so I stick with it. No Silver elite status recognition at all. oh and also the internet is not for free. but it's not to expensive, 10 Euro per 2 hours.(though most Carlson hotels have free internet)

Check out took a while as the front office attendant was trying to check out 2 guests at the same time and he mixed some things up. It all worked out in the end though.

Shuttle to and from the airport was free though it was about a 20-30 minute ride. It was done by a separate company located at parking deck 3 just outside the arrivals terminal.

Next time I have to fly out of Düsseldorf and the Sheraton at the airport is to expensive of full, I will properly stay here again. I will stay here again as well if I have to park my car for a long time.
