Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - CX Lounges Manila & Jakarta

When I flew out of Manila last June, the CX lounge there was one of the grottiest I have ever seen, is it still the same?

On this trip I am also flying out of Jakarta, what is the lounge like there?

If you flew out last June than I can guarantee it is even grottier with an even higher carpet-stain to carpet ratio than before

No changes in MNL, the CX lounge there is still underwhelming.

Used it two day ago and the grit-like soup was o.k. The sandwich was so-so and NO bottled water. Night and day compared to the CX lounge in HKG.

At least I didn't spot any mice at the CX MNL lounge. MIASCOR Lounge attendant told me they have a problem with mice - and sure enough there was one running under my table a few minutes later. :rolleyes:

SQ and NW lounges are the only halfway decent lounges at MNL T1.

At CGK, CX uses the JAS Premier Lounge I believe - absolute rubbish as well but slightly better than MNL.

THe MNL lounge is really awful. Anybody knows if/when CX plan to move to the new terinal 3 in MNL which looks pretty nice from the outside? Hopefully they will be able to create a nicer lounge there.

There was a press release about two weeks ago that CX plans to move to Terminal 3 later this year. No specific dates were given.

Not really ... at least if I'm eating a balut in Quiapo I know what I'm getting ;)
