I've got an 8-hour daytime layover in Detroit one Saturday next month. I've seen the airport plenty in the past, but never gone "landside" in Michigan at all. Any suggestions?

I've got friends who work for the university there; maybe I could surprise them. jcherney Feb 13, 09, 11:38 pm How feasible would it be, in your opinion, to duck out to Ann Arbor? Should give you more than enough time to get there, enjoy yourself, and get back without concern. If you're there for lunch, I might recommend Zingerman's Deli. It's excellent. brooks5018 Feb 16, 09, 11:00 am yup, ann arbor would also be pretty easy. i would reccomend renting a car though, rather then getting a cab. |
