Well, perhaps "broke" isn't the right word. In preparation for a trip to Rome at the end of February, I purchased a pair of Mephistos from an online discounter. The first pair, in a 37.5, were uncomfortably tight, so I returned them and got the 38s. Loved them for about two weeks, until today - I put them on and could barely walk in them, they had stretched out so much. :(
I'm assuming since I got them for half-price that I'm SOL with the manufacturer. Does anyone know of ways to unstretch shoes? They're microfiber along the top and patent on the sides.
Thanks so much!
