I'm thinking of booking a flight FLL-BOS connecting in IAD with only 25 minutes to spare.

Sun, Mar 29
Flight 810 FLL 7:30AM - IAD 10:00AM
Flight 1254 IAD 10:25AM - BOS 11:54AM

Do you think it's do-able? I've never been to jetBlue's terminal B in IAD. If I miss the flight, the next IAD-BOS is 6 hours later at 4:15PM.

Thanks.

That early in the morning should not be a problem, but are you checking bags? If so, I would reconsider. Also, why not just take a nonstop FLL-BOS?

Flight 1266 is a nonstop...FLL-BOS at 6:35am, arrives at 9:43am. It's only $20 more, but I would choose the convenience of a nonstop even though it is 55 minutes earlier at that hour of the morning. You also spend less time traveling.

I noticed the direct flight, but 7:30 departure time would be the ideal one. Will bring only carry-on. Thanks for the reply! ^

Does 0:25 meet the minimum connect time for IAD? I guess it does if they are selling it, but I'd be worried about misconnecting, even with only had luggage and knowing that the aircraft starts its day in FLL that morning. By the time you deplane there is a good chance they'll be moving towards final boarding call on the connecting flight.

Boy, That's a pretty tight connection. If your flight to BOS decides to push 10 minutes early, chances of your making it are pretty slim.

Is it worth 2 1/2 hours of worry for an extra hour of sleep? Please reconsider.

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah, I'm a bit worried and decided to fly with AA out of MIA instead.
