Deja vu - it reminds me of the philosophy of the Satyam founder, at the time the story emerged that he has cooked the books outrageously, for a long time.
He mentioned his company philosophy of cutting everything out or simplifying to the nth degree, to cut costs to the bone. :)
Then sell it as something special. ;)
The media was all over this thing yesterday. Then they realized nobody had actually seen the darn thing.
Of course, we are now one day later and it all appears to be a hoax. Even the smartest minds in the world can't make a 2GB WiFi enabled laptop for $10. The chips simply don't exist for that price range.

Sure they can. They may lose a little on each unit, but they make it up in volume :D
