Mileage Run Discussion - Making most of MR on budget

How to do or where to book MR on multi iternaries to make more miles and less fares. I read somewhere here about say going to DFW-LAX-DFW will be cheaper instead DFW-XXX-DFW-YYY-LAX-YYY-DFW.And usually its on same metal which is great for mileage thing

How to find this kind of things?expedia multi itirenaries? ITA software??airline websites?? whats the trick? care to share?

You can do a lot just using FC and ITA even if you're not an expert on routing rules.

Also make sure to use the flight availability websites to help you out.
