Budget Travel - Last Minute Travel Tool Needed

Does anyone know if such a tool exists to find the cheapest place(s) to travel from your destination on specific dates?
I know about www.farecompare.com/flyertalk which is great when I don't have dates in mind but often I have certain dates available but don't care where I go. (usually at Xmas)

Travelocity's dream map used to do something similar to this.
Anyone know if this exists?

Specifically this time I'm trying to get *anywhere* in europe on specific dates (then use LLC) so that I can attend a funeral.

I've been checking all the usual last minute places, but they all require very distinct start/end points.
