^^

I came across this link, and it seemed too good not to share.

www.yourfonts.com

Print out a 2 page PDF, fill it out, scan it, and upload it.

I did it today, and I'm quite impressed with the results. And.... the price can't be beat

That is nifty. Too bad I type for everything because describing my handwriting as illegible would be charitable at best. :)

Server Pretty Busy Today...

At the moment our site is overwhelmed with visitors from lifehacker.com and other blogs that pick up the news about our service. We appreciate your interest in our font generator, but please understand our server is not able to process all your requests at the same time. If for some reason your upload fails, please try again at a later time. Thanks for your support!

So you are giving an anonymous company an exact way to copy your handwriting.......Hmmm

Every time you post here, you give millions of anonymous Internet users the ability to copy your posting style.......Hmmm ;)

Does the handwriting ever get linked to personal information that would enable the company to spoof the user? I walked through the site as far as I could and saw that there was no personal information submission required before the upload. What does the site require the user to surrender to download the finished product?

Great! Now I can make my keyboarding as illegible as my writing.

So you are giving an anonymous company an exact way to copy your handwriting.......HmmmKind of. I'm certain the kerning won't be as cramped as my actual handwriting. Also, it's not cursive; it's print style.

I'm certainly not going to give them my entire signature as a keystroke, however convenient that might be.

thanks, will have to print/scan when I get home. Would be nice to have my own font(s) for documents.

it works just fine on my i-mac ^ but n.b, some of the spacing is a bit funky so make sure when you "write your samples" you are pretty much dead center in the little boxes (look at the example page in one of the steps)

Thanks! Now I can write notes to my mom on the computer and she won't know I didn't write them by hand (her vision isn't great).

Worked great.

My thoughts exactly. Might as well send them a few blank checks as well.
