Travel Technology - Scratch on Bold display
I have a small scratch on my display (of course I didn't think of adding one of those protectors). Anyone knows of a way to switch the display or device? I called AT&T and of course they're not willing to swap the device. Any tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

There is a silicon kit that is designed to repair scratches in eye glass lenses. You can buy them off the net, but if you have a friend who is an optometrist, this might be the time to mooch a favor.
Thanks. The scratch sort of goes inside the display (i.e. you can 'feel' it) - so not sure a kit like that would help? Can I do it myself?

If you have rainx try that. On some scratches it makes the edges transparent, so while it doesn't fix them, it makes them a bit harder to see.

You can buy replacement bezels, too. Try cnn.cn Yes I know it's in China but it's legit.
http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-bold-9000-screen-lens-p-2479.html -- this looks like it would solve my problem. Quite pricey (and out of stock) though. Anyone has seen a similar item in the US?
From out a similar on item on ebay for $10: http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACKBERRY-BOLD-9000-OEM-LCD-SCREEN-LENS-GLASS-REPLACE_W0QQitemZ350153693071QQcmdZViewItem - Can I replace the display just like that ?
They also seem to sell the screen protectors: http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-bold-9000-screen-protector-p-2849.html

The first one is expensive (more expensive I should say) because it includes both the LCD screen and the lens over it. You only need to replace the lens.
