It's the first time a 190 has operated a transcon redeye, with customers aboard, in company history.

Awesome!!! Is it on the schedule regularrly to operate on the 190? Or, was this a one-time deal maybe due to a lighter load and strong eastbound winds?

I wouldn't count on this being a regular thing. I think the light load and the strong winds made this happen

I bet all the pax were happier.

When you're in a plane, more cozier = more fun! :)

Is this a good thing??

I am inclined to think no. I know that the E190s are more comfortable than their smaller cousins, but that is still a long flight in a small metal tube. Then again, I have issues with a 752 to Europe so what do I know.
