Reason for the long title....
I have Treo 650 that is on it's last legs....Palm OS is clearly dead...the Pre is too far off and also GSM doesn't appear to be offered in the first cut.
I've been using Palm Desktop for my calendar for years...so that's over.
Our company uses the 'corporate' version of Google Calendar (I've been keeping both updated till now) and since neither Symbian or the BB OS seem to have a Palm Desktop-like app I guess I'm wondering which is the easiest OS to sync with Google Calendar? Don't use Outlook (and don't want to).

The T-Mobile G1. Totally seemless with all the Google apps, including their "apps for domains", which is what I use it with.

There is no desktop syncing, but you can always sync Outlook or Thunderbird with some plugins.

GCal Sync for Google Calendar and Symbian (http://www.gcalsync.com/)

Nuevasync Nokia Google Calendar using Nokia Mail for Exchange (http://www.then82blog.com/2008/08/introducing-nuevasync-absolute-best-way.html)

Both work very nicely on the E71 and E61 and Google Calendar plays very nicely with Thunderbird (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/4631) (and I'm sure Outlook).

The first app sounds good, but many companies do not permit the use of third party services if they require access to your data. I'd be really hesitant to provide a company access to my Google account just so they can sync for me.

Google provides a Blackberry sync app. It works well and syncs over the air. I have had a bit of problems also syncing it to Exchange, but with just Google syn it should work well. For that matter, iPhones will also work well syncing to Google.
