On frequentflyer.com.au there is a thread from 2004-2005 about talking to the retention department and getting 50%-100% bonus points on all transactions.
Is this still possible in Australia? I'm quite tempted to sign up for a personal card as that effectively gives 1SPG point per dollar :D
Otherwise I was looking at Amex Platinum Credit Card, as it offers 1.5points per dollar and there appears to be many 10,000-30,000 bonus point promotions....
Any recommendations?
