I booked a last minute trip to Cancun next weekend on beachdestinations.com. I did a good amount of research on 4 hotels that were in the same price range and like one of them significantly more than the other 3. I received an email today that the one I had selected was unavailable and to give them a call to talk about it. I really don't want to settle for any of the other 3. What kind of leverage do I have to negotiate myself into a higher priced one? After doing some minimal research on hotels they still have available I like one a lot that was about $250 more (total) than what I had booked. I figured I'd check here before I call them to see if anyone can provide any insight or had dealt with the situation before. Thanks.
