Jetblue won't have any issues making this route work. It think its becoming pretty obvious that the Carribean and Northeast-Florida routes are their bread and butter routes. Once this routes starts up, I would imagine that B6 will look to start BOS/MCO-MTY

Puerto Rico and the The Dominican Republic have long been successful for JetBlue from JFK, so I always assumed that Jamaica would be too. It seems a natural.
There is a huge population centered in Brooklyn and Queens with family ties to Jamaica, plus New Yorkers love those Jamaican beaches.

Air Jamaica's dropping 5 jets so they're only down to 9 now so Jamaica's ripe for the picking. Another great place to jet to!

I think B6 will considers service for MCO-MBJ. I think it will be perfect opportunity for JFK-KIN will operate on E90. I'm sure the loads will be very successful route for B6. This is under consideration for JFK-KIN due to limitation restrictoins. I'm sure this is better time where B6 will looking for possibility service from MCO-MBJ on operate A320 series but, not even E90.

No, not yet. B6 is still wait for subject of government approval. It should have to be finalization from government approval sometimes in few weeks.

They do not wait for government approval to sell seats. They sell them with the "pending government approval" fine print. I don't know when they are or were scheduled to start selling them, but they are not avoiding it now due to government approval issues.

Flights to Montego Bay went on sale today (Wednesday) as planned, and you can purchase them online. There seems to be a problem with the website right now--MBJ doesn't show on the main page at jetblue.com, but if you click "Book travel" (flights), you can use that form to select it.
Currently, travel must originate in the US. Much like when BOG flights went on sale--hopefully that'll change soon.

Here the press releases from B6 inauguration service for JFK-MBJ today. I'm sure the loads are very successful route for B6. So it might to get second daily service for JFK-MBJ in the future. If they have enough more capacity growth for JFK-MBJ. So here the press releases from B6:
