Liberty Mutual Insurance offers 500 American (http://www.libertymutualonline.com/affinity/americanairlines/index.html?&src=aa_gen) or Delta (http://www.libertymutualonline.com/affinity/delta/index.html?src=delta_display) Airlines miles for getting a free automobile, home, or renters insurance quote.

21st Century Insurance offers (https://auto.21st.com/AutoQuoteWeb/partners/nwa/index.jsp) 300 Northwest Airlines miles for getting a free automobile insurance quote, and 1,000 more if you buy a policy.

Other long standing offers of miles for insurance quotes are available in the Insurance section of the Finance page of my website below.

How do these usually go down? I'm a Canadian, but I used to live in Kansas - can I pretend to be still living there, or do they do mailings/verify current address? Any ideas?

Well, put in for the AA miles which is nice, but, the quote is garbage. A full $500/year more expensive than what I currently pay through Geico.

I wouldn't trust the 21st Century offer.

I responded to a mailed offer of a $10 Amazon.com gift card on Dec. 1, 2008. Logged on the 21st Century website, filled out the quote form, got a quote with a confirmation number, followed the procedure to a T. Never got the gift code/card (which was supposed to be e-mailed within 14 days).

Sent them a followup e-mail on January 4 of this year (to InetMarketing@21st.com). It's 3+ weeks later, still no response (let alone any gift code/card).

What a waste of time -- complete ripoff. :td:

21st Century is AIG. They probably need another government bailout, before they could make good on this promo. ;)
