hi

i've been a motown fan since the 60's. when i was 14 i bought hitsville usa for my youth club, when i was supposed to be buying a beatles album!!;)

we have a layover in detroit airport and i noticed there is a motown music review store in one of the terminals.

i want to buy some stuff, particularly t-shirts, and i wondered if somebody out there can whet my appetite by telling me some of the designs/artists available on a t-shirt in the store.

cheers!

no idea what kinds of designs they have. but if your layover is long enough, you could make it to the motown musuem in detroit

The Motown Review Store is located in the airside portion of the McNamara Terminal.

I haven't been to DTW since the opening of the North Terminall however, if your connection is wholly within McNamara, you will have no issues with access. If you need to move between the two terminals, you will need to re-clear security (I think).

This list will tell you which terminal (NcNamara or North) each airline uses:

This McNamara map shows where the Motown store is (24):

Also, the Classic Motown website has an online store - I would imagine that some of those designs would also be sold in the airport store:
