The 5.2 oz tube for $15.99. The usual box is packed in a gigantic plastic blister pack, very wasteful. I asked CS to remove it which they did for me.

Is it good? I have very dry skin and flying accentuates this condition. I am always on the look out for good products. LLM Jan 15, 09, 12:41 pm It's great. Mary2e turned me on to it. Nanook Jan 16, 09, 11:14 am I, too, have very dry skin and use the L'Occitane Ultra Rich Shea Body Cream. It works wonders on me. Right now loccitane.com has it on sale for $49 for a 14 oz. jar (usually $76). Throw in a couple of travel sizes for this item (1.7 oz @ $8 per jar) and you've got free shipping thrown in (orders over $60). Plus, shop via aadvantageeshopping or mypoints and you can earn some miles or points. megan Jan 20, 09, 5:11 pm I have never heard of L'Occitane hand cream. Is it good? Their products are well-represented in my bathroom and in my purse. :) LLM Jan 20, 09, 5:33 pm Only reason I mentioned it is because the tube now on sale at Costco is normally $25 at L'Occitane and there are a lot of fans here. gretchendz Jan 24, 09, 9:27 am As long as we are discussing hand creams, I started using this after reading about it in an old thread on this forum. It's my favorite (and much less costly): http://www.glysolid.com/ LLM Jan 24, 09, 11:05 am As long as we are discussing hand creams, I started using this after reading about it in an old thread on this forum. Can you get it in stores or do you need to order the sample? jurisdr Jan 26, 09, 5:02 pm The 5.2 oz tube for $15.99. Wow, that's a great deal. I use the mini 1oz tubes for travel, but this size is great for home. Hopefully, my local Costco still has it in a few days. gretchendz Feb 1, 09, 6:59 pm Looks interesting. Does it help with dry cuticles? Can you get it in stores or do you need to order the sample? I have never looked for it in stores...have just bought it online. You can usually find some for sale on Ebay as well. It is a German product so I suspect you can find it easily in European pharmacies. Yes--I think it helps with dry cuticles too. After a few days of use, my hands feel so soft :) I'd recommend trying the small tube they are giving away for just the S & H fee. ShopAround Feb 2, 09, 1:40 pm It is a German product so I suspect you can find it easily in European pharmacies. German? I always thought L'Occitane was French. Landing Gear Feb 2, 09, 4:33 pm German? I always thought L'Occitane was French. Your thoughts were right. The full name of the company is L'Occitane de Provence which is why the signature scent of the company is lavender (lavande de Provence). BaliParis Feb 2, 09, 6:04 pm German? I always thought L'Occitane was French. I believe gretchendz was referring to Glysolid as being a German product, not about L'Occitane. I have seen Glysolid at local beauty supply stores and I think at Beauty First as well. |
