I travel a lot, stay in hotels a lot..about 210 nights in 2008. Yesterday I checked out of the Radisson Racine Harborwalk for the last time and experienced a rare twinge of regret. It wasn't the service (which was average), or the property iteslf (also average), or the city (which I despised), but the harbor view which has changed from beautiful blues full of boats in summer to frozen over and topped with snow over the winter months. I am going to miss sipping my coffee looking out at the harbor and Lake Michigan.
For those of you that spend half of your lives in hotels I am curious..which final checkout has given you the biggest moment of regret?
