My first post in MR deals. Recently enamored with CO and their service I think this is a decent deal for Calgary skiing or Tampa for sunshine.

Lots of other routing possibilities. (DTW for instance)

Finally found a route through DTW to add another 500 miles but didn't pull the trigger. My other half thinks I'm a little crazy but who wouldn't want to getaway to FL for a few days?

Routing through DTW will put you on NW metal and likely kill the earning rates thanks to the 50% EQM issues. Be careful with that.

FWIW, I found YYC-IAH-EWR-TPA in both directions. I don't know if it can be "stretched" more than that.

Hi, being so new to all of this, can you help me understand where you found the above listing, and then, how do you go about booking a particular fare basis?

I have been reading lots of threads for MRs, and am getting more confused by the minute as to how to actually book the fares once I have found them on Farecompare etc.

Go to a website and search for the lowest price, and it will pop up. If it doesn't, call the airline itself and request the fare basis (assuming it is still available). Generally, if it is appearing on ITA, it's still available.

I hope CO comes back with another good fare ex-YYC, like the New York fare 2 years ago for $198 all in.
