I'm thinking of doing a last minute trip to DR and PR, the air fare between the two is a bit much so I was thinking of taking one of those overnight ferries... can't believe it takes 12 hours to get from Santo Domingo to Mayagüez, but with the entertainment on board and no need for a hotel, it might be worth it.
Has anyone done one of these, would recommend or not recommend it?
Whats the best way of getting from Mayagüez to San Juan? I'd imagine a bus would be the most sensible option.
Are there any hostels in Santo Domingo or San Juan? I'm not really finding any.
