AN aircraft steward who worked for McLaren racing boss Ron Dennis accused the multi-millionaire of being racist, a Southampton employment tribunal heard today.
Peter Boland, 27, who was sacked by Mr Dennis in May 2007, said the tycoon had said as he boarded his luxury executive jet in the Middle East that he must wash his hands because he had been ''shaking hands with Arabs all day''.

Good memory. I guess the "he fired me because he thought I was gay" charge didn't get any traction, so now he's going down the race path.

I seem to recall Barak Obama saying that Pres. Bush used sanitizer after shaking hands when they first met. Racist? Does the fact that he does it with everyone have an impact?

Haven't numerous medical organizations advised to regularly wash your hands after interacting with others to prevent the spread of germs, colds, etc.?

Surely - I'm not too paranoid when it comes to germs, but I do wash my hands first thing after getting to my desk in the morning. If you took the London Underground to and from work each day, you would too! :D

I cannot see how washing your hands or using a sanitizer makes one a racist?:confused: Just a sanitary person.:) I pick up glasses and hug folks of my own race many times, and still wash up after.:confused:

I suspect he feels greater remorse for the upset that he has needlessly caused to his reputation.
