Am flying F from HKG - ICN (747) and ICN - BOM (A330). Seems like there are 4 different 744 configurations. Which one will I have? Flight number is KE 604.
How about on A330? KE 655

Thx!

I have a similar question so I thought I'd add it here, too.

I'm mostly concerned about the DFW-ICN leg of an upcoming trip; the reservation rep kind of made an "oh no" sound when assigning me seat 53J, so I'm wondering what that means... which config should I be looking at?

Thanks in advance! ^^

53J can be a very good or bad seat depending on the 747. Try going to Expedia or Travelocity to pull up the actual seat map for the cabin, and then compare to the seat maps for Korean on SeatGuru. On some versions of the 747 53J is a seat with only two seats in the section. On the other versions it is a middle seat by the galley that SeatGuru highlights with a yellow caution.

The 330-300 in business class only has a 41-42 inch pitch.

I am traveling on a business class award and I cannot get seat assignments on-line.

I think you can pull up seatmap of your DFW-ICN flight at delta.com, if you make a dummy booking.

HKG-ICN 747 configuration is very changeable depends on many situations. Even aircraft can be changed to 773/330 or else. Currently "744" (16F one) goes mostly and 30% chance to have "74B" (12F sleeper one). You can check at cargo.koreanair.com -> e-cargo -> schedule -> aircraft DEP/ARR schedule 7 days before your flight which configuration will come.

A330 has only one configuration, so you'll seat on 50" pitch F seat without exception.

Last time I flew HKG-ICN, it was a 747 Combi. No F, all J downstairs (in the nose and between doors 1 and 2), and extra Y section upstairs.

I booked and, more importantly, paid for F so I better get F!

It shows B747-400 P as aircraft type. So how do I know whether 16 or 12F config? Assume out of question that it is 10F Kosmo sleaper seat?

I thought A330 had 58" pitch? Stil cr*p though. How far do seats recline?
