American Express Membership Rewards - AMEX Rewards Plus Gold...What to expect?

Hi all -

Thanks in advance for your input. I was just approved online for the AMEX Rewards Plus gold charge card. This is my first experience with an AMEX charge card product. I've had a Blue card for a little over a year.

Understanding that there is, "no-pre set spending limit," does AMEX provide any sort of guidance on the amount I'll be able to put on the card on a monthly basis? I'd hate to run into an embarrassing experience if I take clients out to dinner or something along those lines. The online approval didn't make any reference to a $$ amount.

If you call Amex CS and ask for your limit, they'll give it to you.
