Can anyone list a few iDine restaurants in the MSP airport? I'll get sick of the pretzels in the WorldClub. The iDine site doesn't really help.

I'll get sick of the pretzels in the WorldClub. The iDine site doesn't really help. A few? You'll be very lucky if there's one in the whole airport, because the vast majority of airports have none at any given time. This thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/idine-rewards-network/466377-any-eligible-airport-restaurants.html lists a few but then lists them later as dropping out, and it was in search of participating restaurants in any airports in the country! Anyway, you can look yourself, it just takes a tiny bit of research. You need to find the zip code of the airport, and search around that zipcode. margarita girl Jan 3, 09, 10:18 am A quick way to get an airport's address/zip code is through Map Quest. I travel in a few weeks so I'll see if it yields a winner. Unless they've got the address listed wrong, if it's not on the iDine/RN site, it simply doesn't participate. So I don't understand "I"ll see if it yeilds a winner". The likelihood in a major metropolitan area of a random restaurant participating in iDine/RN is a fraction of a percent. But at airports it's a fraction of a fraction of a percent, since most airport restaurants don't feel the need to use something to bring in more customers or to get a loan that'll be paid back with dines (the two reasons restaurants sign up for iDine/RN). Your best bet is to look at the airport web site to see if any of the restaurants there are parts of a chain where another restaurant in the chain elsewhere in your area participates. Then buy a gift card at the participating location, and use it at the airport location. But, again, only a fraction of restaurant chains have particpating restaurants (La Salsa and Baja Fresh being the big ones, but I've not yet heard of any in-airport locations for these). |
