American Express Membership Rewards - Business Centurion (Addtl Card) to Personal Centurion?

Hi,

I think this has been discussed to a point in the past, but my question has a bit of a twist on it.

My father has a business Centurion card for his business. The AMEX account was originally set up by one of his partners (as such he is the primary), but they are equal owners of the business.

Are there any instances of AMEX allowing him to become the primary on a personal card or even his own separate business card? Based on what I've read here in the past, if he was the primary on the business card, this wouldn't be an issue, but since he is only an additional cardholder, it is. I'm sure he could furnish documentation proving his ownership of the business if it was necessary. The charges are high enough that even his "share" of the charges would qualify for Centurion.

He's just fed up with having to jump through hoops to get things done over the phone, even though he is listed as having full access to the account. I forget what AMEX calls it. I'm also fed up because it causes me stress as well when doing things like points transfers and dealing with charge disputes.

Thanks.

My friend had a similar situation. She took over a postition from someone who applied for a Business Amex. SHe had to call and give them her information and was able to transfer the card, so basically she had to apply for the account using her credit information.
