I did search this (although not too hard -- still recovering from the 31st) -- are the prices cited on Bidding For Travel and Better Bidding for all-inclusives the full price of the room including meals?
And is the price for the two people in the room or per-person?
And, I believe there is a supplement for the "Resort" category -- that is per-night?
Any other advice on bidding for all-inclusives (I am particularly interested in the Riviera Maya)
Thanks!

I did search this (although not too hard -- still recovering from the 31st) -- are the prices cited on Bidding For Travel and Better Bidding for all-inclusives the full price of the room including meals? Some disclose their winning bids with all taxes i.e. final price, some just put in the basic "price per night". If no further information is included, most participants just state what their bid amount was.
And is the price for the two people in the room or per-person? Priceline bids are always for up to 2 people (sleeping accomodations for 2 people is guaranteed). For Hotwire, it depends on what is entered when you ask for a search.
And, I believe there is a supplement for the "Resort" category -- that is per-night? Each hotel in the resort category decides on its' own resort fee - you may not find out the amount until you check-in.
Any other advice on bidding for all-inclusives (I am particularly interested in the Riviera Maya) Sorry, I've never bid for Mexico, but always everywhere else!
Thanks!
Just in case anyone is confused in reading the above, let me make some clarifications... You CANNOT specify getting an all-inclusive resort on Priceline (and, as most people know, you cannot specify which hotel you will get either). Even if you bid "resort", there are some hotels that have come up that are NOT all-inclusive. There is no way to improve your chances of getting an all-inclusive resort either.
To answer your first question, spainflyer, if the hotel that you "win" through priceline or hotwire grants all of its guests all-inclusive meals/etc., you will also receive the same amenities. So yes, the rate shown on BFT or BB would be the rate per night that was "won" on priceline or hotwire and that rate would include the all-inclusive amenities.

Thanks, Tenerife (neighbour) and lo2e.
To be clear, I am looking at Bidding for Travel. The Mexico hotel list (I know this may not be complete, but let’s work with it) has the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort as the only 4* in Riviera Maya. I have stayed there in the past and know it is an all-inclusive, all-year. Their web site confirms this.
While some postings (Tenerife and others) indicate that if you win with your bid on PL and it is an all-inclusive, you will get all the meals, drinks and other services in the PL price. I assume this is for two people in the room.
But, on Bidding for Travel Mexico there is a posting entitled “Stupid Question” in which Ferrari 355 asks:
If I bid on a hotel in Cancun am I bidding on the All Inclusive Package?
And Renard 98 answers:
No. You are bidding for the room only.
I can find nothing on either the Priceline site or on Bidding for Travel that clarfies this. Obviously, it does make a good deal of difference!
Any clarification would be appreciated, including references to Priceline “policy.”
Thanks!
First of all, just because there is only one resort in the Hotel List does not mean that is the only one offered or the only one you could/would get.
I guess there is an off chance that an all-inclusive resort would not give priceline guests the same benefits - seems like it would be more work to keep track of the very few guests who would not be entitled to that. But having said that, I have no firsthand experience in that regard.

OK, as I said, I would be appeciative of any directions to Priceline policy on this matter. What hotels "should do," "probably do," and "ought to do" is of interest, but less so. Thanks!
I guess the best answer to your question is on the page where you review the specifics of your bid and place your initials:
Hotel rooms purchased through priceline are not eligible for frequent traveler points, upgrades, vouchers, or other discounts and incentives. (Bolding added by me)
In other words, even if you win an all-inclusive resort, you are not guaranteed to get the all-inclusive amenities. That said, I think it's safe to assume that if every other guest gets all-inclusive amenities (and at most applicable places get charged a resort fee of some kind), then you will be treated the same way.
