Las Vegas - Meeting at McCarran - arriving at different terminals

Hi folks,

Looking for a bit of advice from those familiar with LAS. I'm flying into T2 (AC) in a few days and meeting someone flying into T1 (CO - D gates, I believe). We both arrive at the same time (well, scheduled to, anyway).

Can anyone recommend a good meeting place for the two of us? Baggage claim area (is it shared? I can't remember) or better to meet at the car rental facility (we are renting a car)?

I can't remember) or better to meet at the car rental facility (we are renting a car)?...The baggage claim areas aren't shared, but if don't have crazy numbers of bags and don't mind a five minute walk...then...I'd recommend you walk to the Terminal One baggage claim and meet there. If you're not too anxious, meeting at the Consolidated Rental Faciity (for rental cars) would work, as it has a less crowded and more relaxed atmosphere.

Will only have a carry-on so walking to T1 baggage claim sounds perfect. Thanks so much!

and there is plenty of space there too.

I was in this situation last year; we arranged to meet at the car rental area.

Super quick walk. Head to your right as you head out the door. Otherwise, you can hop aboard the mini-bus interterminal shuttle bus or take the rent a car shuttle to T1.

If you are *Gold, meet at the US lounge in T1 above the US checkin counters for a couple free sodas. IT's outside security and easily accessable.

Oooh, didn't know about that. I do have *G status so if my brother's flight is delayed it will be nice to have that option.
